Three zebras stand close together in the golden-yellow grass of the savanna, while other animals move past in the background. The high-contrast black and white of the stripes stands out vividly against the ochre, green, and beige tones of the landscape. The animal portrait captures the vastness and serenity of a safari afternoon with loose, naturalistic brushstrokes.
In landscape format, the oil painting makes an impact above a sofa in the living room or a sideboard in the dining room. It suits colonial, safari, and natural styles featuring rattan, leather, and sandy tones. It can be harmoniously complemented with jute baskets, large green plants, and black accents that pick up on the striped pattern.
Hand-painted
Each picture is painted by hand with oil paints on canvas. Brushwork and paint application differ slightly from piece to piece – making each painting a unique item.
